If you answered that they are all brilliant musicians, you are only partially right. David Bowie, known for his <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Rise_and_Fall_of_Ziggy_Stardust_and_the_Spiders_from_Mars\">glam-rock styling<\/a> in the early \u201870s, was involved in promoting up and coming artists online before it became a widespread practice. His paintings range from abstract to surreal and can be found in galleries worldwide.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8545\" style=\"width: 360px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.limelightagency.com\/Ronnie-Wood\/Press\/telagraph-2006.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8545\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8545 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.zatista.com\/art\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2011\/10\/ronnie-wood-painting-ivy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"330\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-8545\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ron Wood in the Studio on limelightagency.com<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstones.com\/person\/ronnie-wood\">Ron Wood<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstones.com\/\">The\u00a0Rolling Stones<\/a> tends to paint more figuratively, and many of his canvases depict celebrities. According to his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ronniewood.com\/iphoneart.aspx\">website<\/a>, he has been painting since he was twelve and his involvement in music and art go hand in hand. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jeffersonairplane.com\/the-band\/grace-slick\/\">Grace Slick<\/a>, who also paints portraits of well-known contemporaries from the music scene, is best known as the vocalist from the 1960s band <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jeffersonairplane.com\/\">Jefferson Airplane<\/a>.\u00a0After her retirement from music in the late \u201880s, she turned to visual art.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8546\" style=\"width: 360px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.areaarts.com\/grace-slick\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8546\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8546 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.zatista.com\/art\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2011\/10\/Solid-Color.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"410\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-8546\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Solid Color by Grace Slick on peabodyfineart.com<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The jazz and show tunes vocalist <a href=\"https:\/\/tonybennett.com\/\">Tony Bennett<\/a> has art training and paints and draws every day. Painting can be a solitary endeavor, and hours in front of a canvas offers a means to escape the chaotic nature of show business and the stage, while still providing an outlet for creativity.
