To share an emotion or experience is a compulsion.

I am finding ways to share my moments of joy and intense reflection as nature presents itself to me. It is sometimes elusive and fleeting. Sometimes it is overwhelming and I struggle to find the right tone. But I will strive to capture in light and movement the emotion that is stirred in my soul.

The telling might at times be abstract in the re-telling and I will keep evolving in my quest to find the most eloquent of marks to captivate and entice my viewer to come closer, step inside, sit down and just find a moment to be quiet and still.

I received my diploma as decor and make-up artist from the Tshwane university of Technology in 1992 and worked at being a self-taught artist since 2010
