Stella Burggraaf

I am a Dutch landscape painter. I grew up and still live in the North of Holland, close to Amsterdam. Most of the paintings are made in my studio in Westknollendam, but I also work plein air. I am inspired by the im[ressionists and Dutch landscape painters of the ‘Haagse School’.

The oil paintings I make are impressions. Starting with the horizon I create my own landscapes, searching for the admosphere of the Dutch wetlands, with wide views and the famous clouds reflecting in the water.

Graduated in 2003 at the Ruudt Wackers Art Academy in Amsterdam.
